Does the urban Punjab represent the whole Pakistan? Does the motorway party (i.e., PML-N, whose popularity is limited to cities on the motorway from Lahore to Rawalpindi) represent the majority of Pakistan? Do the motorway journalists (i.e., Dr. Shahid Masood, Irfan Siddiqui, Kashif Abbasi, Ansar Abbasi, Hamid Mir etc) represent the opinion of the people of Sindh, Balochistan, NWFP and the Southern Punjab?
Abbas Ather asks some valid questions in the following op-ed.
