This would be done by repealing the 17th constitutional amendment that former president Pervez Musharraf had pushed through in 2002 transferring the powers to the presidency from the prime minister's office. If he is sticking to it, then why, he is agreed upon clipping powers??? This is a brilliant move, if we remember he has always been saying that he is ready to clip his powers. President Zardari refused to accept advice from few people who had cautioned him against surrendering his powers all at once as this would make him weaker. President Zardari said that he wants the restoration of the 1973 constitution in its original form and would deliver on his promises made to Sharif the other allies of the ruling coalition. It is obvious to everyone that in both his addresses to parliament. The analysis of Cyril doesn’t depict true picture rather it throws you into the snake pit of rumours.
